Hi everyone. And welcome to this week's episode event during the badge podcast, I'm host Jerry Dean England, and I don't want you to miss an upcoming episode. So please hit that subscribe button. And while your phone's out, please do me a favor and give us a review on iTunes or our apple podcast. It says, Hey, this podcast has a great message and we should send it out to more people.

So please take that 30 seconds to a minute to do that review. And just maybe by doing that, it'll push this up into someone's podcast feed that really needs this. I wanted to welcome my listeners to a new coaching program. I have it's called fire and fuel coaching. It's dedicated to you the listener and it's built just for you a custom program.

That's gonna allow you to have the best relationships, the most amazing marriage. And the most important thing is discovering your truest. In your inner wisdom and that motivation, I'm just gonna help you find it, cuz it's in you. And I know that if you wanna learn more about the program, please D me at Jerry fire and fuel on Instagram or end during the badge podcast on Instagram, you can also go to the website and leave a voice message there for me.

Any of those three will work. I will get back to you as soon as possible. I'm gonna do something new and it's called podcast shorts, and I'm basing that off of my prior guests and their mindsets and their relationships, and also my coaching program. And I'm gonna give you some very short podcasts on how to improve those two things, your mindset, and a relationship.

And I'm gonna take some lessons from. My coaching program, and I'm gonna give them to you and see if you can put those into your life to make your relationship stronger and your mindset stronger in today's lesson. I'm gonna talk about making your relationship stronger. And in this lesson, I'm gonna talk about love and I believe love is a stirring emotion that I feel when I encounter.

my soulmate, which is my wife. She is definitely my soulmate. And I am so grateful for that. I realize such a relationship with your soulmate is so rare and I carefully want to nurture our, our relationship so we can grow deeper and have a stronger bond of love together. I also acknowledge that no relationship is perfect, not even mine and.

everything that happens in my relationship has an attached learning lesson to it. And I wanna take advantage of those lessons in love to build a more positive relationship each day. And I want you to do that with your partner as well. When I have that disagreement or argument with my wife, I want to have that endeavor to reach a point of forgiveness in a short time.

The more we sweep under the rug. And the more time that goes by in dealing with a situation, the more complex it's gonna be, especially as we work so hard these days and are spend so much time away from our family. It's so easy to do that, but you have to initiate that discussion on that issue and find a resolution as soon as possible, this approach is gonna make it easier for you to relate positively.

To your partner moving forward. Whenever you make a mistake, however, you need to realize how hurtful. You are to your partner when you're making the mistake. I'm talking about, it's probably saying something you shouldn't have, and maybe you just reacted instead of thought about your reaction or thought about what you were gonna say.

It just came out and that could stem from anger or resentment or past trigger or something like that. So you need to recognize that hurt that you inflicted in your partner and you gonna have. Resolve that quickly because that negative effect is gonna grow and fester to a point where it's gonna be extremely difficult to find Relu resolution for that.

So take a step back, revisit your actions, put yourself in your partners, shoes and realize the impact that you had on 'em. And then sincerely apologize for what you said or did. And sincerely is the keyword here. You also need to take time to learn from that and you need to grow from that and not also swoop that under the rug.

And so it happens again, you have to take the time to learn from that. You need to be committed to learning what you did wrong in your relationship and embrace the fact that.  you need to change maybe some of your reactions and some of your thought processes and take a different perspective in your relationship so you can grow that love stronger.

So to do that, I have three self-reflection questions that you can do. Number one is do I strive to strengthen my relationship? Number two, how can I avoid saying or doing something hurtful to my partner and number three?  how do I make it a point to apply these lessons? I have learned to fortify my love to my partner.

And I'm not just telling you to just reflect about these, to write these down in a reflection, because there's something that's very magical that happens when you write things down instead of just pondering. And I do encourage that before you write that down, just ponder for a minute and then write your feelings and thoughts down.

You'll be surprised what you come up with. So I hope this helps fortify your love for your partner and thank you for listening. And I hope you're looking forward to the next podcast short about how to make your relationships better. Thanks again for listening.
